two tornadoes touched down in pennsylvania, 1 in monroe county , 1 in wyoming county. first tornado ef2 in monroe county touched down around 1:30 pm edt , tracked 5 miles (8.0 km). 5 homes lost roofs , several barns destroyed along tornado s path. numerous power lines downed, resulting in several road closures. tornado 1 of 12 tornadoes touch down in county since 1950. in cherry valley, 25 power poles downed, resulting in extensive internet , power outages. in franklin county, downburst caused structural damage.

in new jersey, 1 ef2 tornado confirmed in sussex county. tornado tracked 7 miles (11 km) before dissipating. along track, thousands of trees uprooted , snapped, numerous segments of guardrail destroyed, acres of farmland lost , several structures damaged. tornado, peaking winds 120 miles per hour (190 km/h) touched down around 2:45 pm edt , traveled 15 minutes. worst damage along 2 miles (3.2 km) stretch of track in wantage state of emergency declared; in area, hundreds of trees tossed in multiple directions, corn field decimated tornado s winds , damaged dairy farm. 1 70 feet (21 m) tall silo, made of 40 tons of concrete , steel, destroyed tornado. 2 of barns on dairy farm destroyed , 2 others severely damaged. large portion of 1 of barns roof torn off, , tossed .75 miles (1.21 km) before landing in yard of home. barn pick , twisted around despite being secured 18 poles anchored 4 feet in ground.
there 100 cows on farm @ time of tornado, of 1 reported missing. residents saw tornado reported 2 of cows picked , tossed 50 feet (15 m) tornado. on dairy farm property alone, 600 trees uprooted. severe storms in region produced damaging wind gusts 70 miles per hour (110 km/h). torrential rainfall fell within these storms, triggering widespread flash flooding. numerous power lines downed , 100 feet (30 m) radio tower collapsed due winds. tornado 1 of 145 touch down in state since 1950 , first hit wantage in 29 years. throughout state, 25,000 residences left without power due storms.

in unionville, new york, near new york-new jersey state line, brief ef0 tornado touched down around 3:05 pm edt. dozens of trees damaged , several more uprooted. severe damage took place along county highway 36.
maryland
around 2:46 pm edt, ef1 tornado touched down near oldtown, maryland in allegany county. several roads closed due downed trees , power lines, including route 51. several homes damaged tornado. path of tornado estimated 5 miles (8.0 km) long. total of 810 residences left without power after storm.
