football career

reed born in allentown , began football career @ allentown s dieruff high school, played quarterback , competed in east penn conference (now known lehigh valley conference), known producing top collegiate , nfl football talent. in senior year (1981–1982), reed helped lead dieruff epc tri-championship, tying championship emmaus high school , whitehall high school.


reed attended kutztown university of pennsylvania, moved wide receiver position , drew attention of nfl speed , durability @ receiver position.
