parliamentary elections regulated constitution. elections held after four-year term of previous assembly has expired, can held before if assembly dismisses government or government resigns , no majority can reached elect new government. elections called president of serbia 90 days before end of term of office of national assembly, elections finished within following 60 days. elections closed party-list proportional. whole country 1 electoral district. 250 seats distributed between lists using d hondt method. there minimum voting threshold of 5%, party lists more 5% of votes awarded seats. there no threshold ethnic minority lists.


after elections, first session of new assembly convened speaker previous convocation, session held not later 30 days


from day of declaring final election results.
