5 june: judge reggie walton sentences libby serve 2 , half years in federal prison , pay fine of $250,000.

july 2007

2 july: when libby s appeal of walton s order fails, president bush commutes libby s 30-month prison sentence, leaving other parts of sentence intact.
9 july: libby pays monetary fine , begins serving 2 years of supervised release , 400 hours of community service.
