identified type bc on chassis, 130 coupé appeared in 1971 @ geneva motor show exhibiting new 2-door body , new interior. both exterior , interior styling work of paolo martin @ pininfarina. car won design prize, attributed pininfarina, , helped pininfarina begin new life after years relying on fiat 1800/peugeot 404/austin a60 concepts. pininfarina extended fiat 130 coupé line 2 proposals rejected fiat: maremma in 1974 (2-door shooting brake) , opera in 1975 (4-door saloon). paolo martin never got involved in these fiat 130 coupé variations, left company after design prize in 1971.


the seats shaped , designed paolo martin collaboration of giovanni gottin, specialist established in turin. dashboard redesigned sporty round dials, using white needles.
