the protein of c11orf54 exists monomer in solution. protein assumes globular shape of 20 beta strands , 4 alpha helices, containing 9 antiparallel beta strands forming beta screw region. β-screw region of c11orf54 has structural similarity cyclic adenosine 3′,5′-monophosphate (camp) binding domain of regulatory subunit of protein kinase a. zinc ion bound hxhxxxxxxxxxh motif found in sequence.
