in inner yard, east of building, there chapel dedicated saint symeon myrrh-streaming, large dome above it. in chapel there woodcut iconostasis, made masters ohrid, icons painted predojević in 1935.

museum

the museum of serbian orthodox church situated in northern block of building. rich collection has significant religious, cultural , historical value. though majority of preparatory work has been done patriarch varnava , professor radoslav grujić (sr), museum officially open during tenure of patriarch vikentije ii in 1954. bulk of exhibits comes churches , monasteries in syrmia , fruška gora looted ustaše during world war ii. exhibits returned zagreb after war.

the collection consists of religious paintings, portraits of church dignitaries, old serbian engravings, handwritten , printed srbuljas, numerous chasubles, sacral objects, votive offerings, religious embroideries, seals, historical documents, etc. valuable artifacts include rich collection of byzantine-style icons period of ottoman rule, robe of prince lazar heraldic mark on buttons (a helmet ox horns), shroud of king milutin , glass donated mileševa monastery ivan terrible in 1558 (his grandmother serbian noble ana jakšić).

library

the library of patriarchate occupies central south part of edifice. collection oldest library in serbia. of books originate period of patriarch arsenije iii Čarnojević, took them him patriarchate of peć when great migrations of serbs kosovo , metohija began in 1690.
