this residence situated on 2nd avenue campus, , houses men , women. residence within walking distance of port elizabeth s beaches. oceana residence has separate housing first year men , women. students reside in double rooms , share bathrooms. residence can accommodate 112 ladies , 59 men. facilities around residences include gym, sports fields , swimming pool.

letaba & lebombo residences

these 2 residences located on north campus, letaba houses male students, while lebombo houses female students. lebombo can house 216 students. letaba residence consists of ten individual double-storey units, each accommodating 34 students, 272 students in total. units comprise double bedrooms , shared bathroom facilities, recreational , sporting facilities including swimming pool, tennis courts, sports fields , food courts.

this residence houses junior females. melodi residence involved in sporting activities injunction nelson mandela university residence league. residence swimming pool can found @ xanadu-melodi (xm) clubhouse. students able study in comfort of room or study @ study centre located behind residence. computer lab students can gain access internet , complete academic work if not have own personal computers. residence wi-fi enabled. students able access wi-fi in comfort of room.

xanadu residence all-junior male residence located on south campus, close indoor sports centre. each room in xanadu houses 2 male students. xanadu active living , learning environment centred on student participation. students live in xanadu must have desire share political, socio-economic , cultural knowledge others learn political, socio-economic , cultural differences different own.

veritas residence

veritas houses 309 ladies parts of world both single , sharing rooms, conference room, committee room, spacious bathrooms , lounges, small flat lounges. upholds academic excellence, sisterhood , diversity core values.

unitas residence

unitas , veritas first residences built @ south campus in 1972. initially, unitas male residence increased demand female residences, annex converted female residence @ time of merger (upe nmmu). both unitas main , annex feature single rooms self-catering kitchens , senior male , female students. unitas residences divided 19 flats house 17 students in each flat.

ssv-indwe residence

sanlam student village-indwe senior female residence caters 3rd year, 4th year, btech , honours students. situated within walking distance south , north campuses. makes easier students late lectures , wish use either 24 hour computer labs or library.

ssv-ikamva residence

ikamva promotes social , individual development, creating ergonomic environment students promotes excellence.

ssv-protea residence

protea residence modern self-catering residence 312 senior students. located within boundaries of sanlam student village.
