in 2011 census, karui had population (including institutional , houseless population) of 10,506, out of 5,415 (51.54%) males , 5091 (48.46%) females. population between age group 0-6 years 1,285, among them 690 males , 595 females. total number of households 2,363. scheduled castes population 2853 (1461 males , 1392 females) , scheduled tribes population 164 (80 males , 84 females).
