classical lingnan garden uses calligraphy , paintings sparingly, , modern lingnan garden less inclined so. there are, however, several notable instances of such in lingnan garden design. yuyum sanfong, instance, has calligraphy 餘地三弓紅雨足，蔭天一角綠雲深 (classical chinese, literally land large 3 bows, rich in red rain; though corner under sky, abundant green clouds ) written on main door.
