on 9 july 2013, 53 people injured, car bomb in bir el abed neighborhood beirut. blast erupted in parking lot near islamic cooperation centre.

27 dec 2013: mohamad chatah, former finance minister of lebanon killed in car bombing in beirut. 7 others killed.


al-salam , al-taqwa mosques, tripoli bombing

on 23 august 2013, on 400 people injured 2 car bombs planted in front of mosques, 62 people murdered, bombs targeted 2 imams of mosques, former general director of lebanese internal security forces, ashraf rifi,sheikh bilal baroudi in second bombing, , sheikh salem al raf in first bombing, first car bomb exploded in bab- al tebbane area targeted al taqwa mosque, second car exploded 10 mins later in al- mina targeted al salam mosque, , general rifi.
