at present time (2013) collection of lapidarium comprises more 2200 storage units. in collection of artifacts displayed ancient (the main part of collection) , medieval eras. wide range of antique sculptures, numerous gravestones , epigraphic monuments, architectural details, cult objects. in lapidary exhibit portrait scenes of bosphorus , memorial , decorative sculpture, work of architectural sculpture, objects of religious designation, fragments of ancient marble stellas, fountains, tables, church facades. exhibition illustrates various aspects of life of population of ancient bosporan cities. through annual excavations @ ancient fortresses of kerch, collection continues grow new exhibits.
