ashwatthama, son of guru dronacharya, in 1 last-ditch act of revenge against pandavas, releases ultimate weapon of destruction — brahmastra, promises annihilate world. no 1 comes forward condemn it: ethics , humanity have been first casualties of war.


krishna mediated between cousins before war, remains moral centre of play. in failure presents options ethical , , reminds higher or sacred way accessible human beings in worst of times. play ends death of krishna.
