marines training centre (mtc)

the marines training centre (mtc) established in 1990 impart basic , advanced training pakistan marines (pm). during 1990s, pakistan army provided , trained 1st marine offence battalion running training centre. in 2000, pakistan navy took control of centre while army continued train marines. in 2004, marines given status of 1 of 7 recognised uniformed services of pakistan armed forces, pm took control of centre. of today, there large numbers of united states marine corps , royal marines personnel, military advisors, providing training marines.

the mtc headquarters of pakistan naval police (pnp), , conducts basic , refresher training pnp personnel.


creeks battalion

the creeks battalion raised in april 1999 pakistan army objective thwart external threat in creeks, through forward presence , active surveillance in peacetime, defending designated areas of responsibility during wartime. sir creek battalion commanded officer of commander rank.
