gameplay

four contestants, renowned mastery of question/answer format, challenge each other title of quizmaster , potential prize pool of $1,000,000.

there 2 components show. first part involves 5 rounds of questions , answers, contestants buzz in give response. (note: rules each round differ slightly)

round 1

all contestants compete each other score points within time limit. correct answer results in addition of 10 points score, incorrect answer locks player out next question.

round 2: (round of team play)

each contestant, starting highest scorer, allowed choose partner of choice work in building sizeable score, each player take turns @ answering questions, each time player answers correctly, both teammates pick 10 points. however, if player answers incorrectly, must answer further question correctly before passing onto colleague.

round 3: (round of point steal)

plays round 1, except contestant answers correctly nominates opposing player take 10 points add own score.

round 4: (round of isolation)

each contestant in turn chooses 1 other player isolate . player must play alone 60 seconds against other 3 players work in team. if 1 of team members answers incorrectly, team members locked out. @ end of round, player lowest score excluded becoming quizmaster, can still influence final result in round 5.

round 5

plays round 3. however, eliminated player round 4 still permitted answer questions , may distribute points he/she earns player of choice. player highest score @ end of round plays title of quizmaster .

the second component sees highest scorer attempting answer 5 out of 10 questions achieve title of quizmaster . nominate 1 of other players them in quest. in each show, $250,000 added prize pool. questions im section of show extremely difficult not have time limits. highest scorer attempts answer each question in turn. if don t know answer, can ask partner answer question in place. however, if partner called upon; player can claim $50,000 prize pool each question correctly answered. prize pool handed out , highest scorer named quizmaster if 5 or more questions answered correctly, otherwise; pool jackpots next show. successful quizmaster allowed contest next show , potentially pick entire prize pool of $1,000,000.
