the student representative council (src) highest decision-making body of student governance. represents students @ , overall interest , social well-being in university. involved in policy-making , co-operative decision-making on campus. hosts social events student body.


the src elected annually students , consists of 21 members represent other student organizations. src important stakeholder within nelson mandela university, there no decision can taken without student voice.

the arts, culture & heritage unit involved in broader arts , cultural communities in nelson mandela metro , beyond. represents university community s involvement in arts , development within sector, , strives provide learning , developmental opportunities students integrating activities , programmes broader learning , living objectives of university. events ensure engagement in learning outside lecture hall , encourage social integration of nelson mandela university student body.

the nmmyou university s student run newspaper. newspaper, released monthly takes form of electronic newspaper, tying in green image , footprint of university whole. dedicated team covers various categories , topics, including covering of news, sport various lifestyle tips , things in port elizabeth area.

madibaz radio online urban contemporary on campus music radio station focused on providing edutainment youth of nelson mandela bay. station carries variety of programming including news, sports, , spoken word programming general music. madibaz radio broadcasts in 3 official languages (english, afrikaans , isixhosa). station broadcasts 24hours live nelson mandela university south campus, monday sunday
