the loop line railway line, runs crosby junction, (east of forsaken station), town of tidmouth, via elsbridge (where meets thomas branch line) , through callandale, in-between.

many railway engines have worked along line, name comes fact, trains run round whichever side of line quite circularly.

the main line

the main line runs through of southern sodor, barrow (on mainland), across walney channel, via vicarstown bridge , onto island of sodor, rest of journey continuously resumes onwards until reaching tidmouth (on west coast of island).

along way, main line passes through , serves various towns , villages in-between, names of crovan s gate, kellsthorpe, killdane, cronk, maron, wellsworth, crosby , knapford en route, before arriving @ tidmouth.

thomas branch line

thomas branch line runs town of knapford (on main line), valley ffarquhar, via elsbridge (where meets loop line, in-between).

along way, calls , passes through local villages of dryaw, toryreck, elsbridge, maithwaite , hackenbeck respectively, before reaching top station @ ffarquhar. however, continues though , beyond town anopha quarry, mavis works.
